Education and Teaching Experience
Having grown up in Sterling Heights, I graduated from Sterling Heights Stevenson High School and continued my education at Oakland University. Initially, I desired to study pre-law, but as I began tutoring on a regular basis, I realized that my calling was definitely in education.
I was a nerd that always loved attending school, so one of the hardest decisions I had to make was what to teach. After a study abroad experience in Tours, France, I decided to major in French and minor in History.
My teaching career began in French at Cousino High School, but I will never stop learning. That summer I set out on a missions opportunity in Toulouse, France, and upon returning home I pursued a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University in Ann Arbor. This is my 15th year teaching and I am really looking forward to another opportunity for growth at Warren Mott.
